As the winner of the 2018 “Awarded Landmark” award of the “Awarded Landmarks in the Land of Ideas” competition, we were invited to Düsseldorf to receive the award. The winners were welcomed there by Ina Scharrenberg, Minister for Home Affairs, Local Government, Construction and Equal Opportunities of North Rhine-Westphalia, Thomas Buschman, Chairman of Deutsche Bank AG and Ute E. Weiland of the Land of Ideas Award.

The project Containerwerk – Future is living in a cube is one of the 100 innovative prize winners of the competition “Excellent places in the land of ideas” 2018. In line with the annual motto “Connecting Worlds – Strengthening Cohesion”, the project shows how pioneering innovations in the field of construction can be created through the joy of experimentation, curiosity and the courage to rethink. The initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas” and Deutsche Bank have been jointly organizing the innovation competition for 13 years. An independent jury selected Containerwerk – Future is living in a cube from almost 1,500 applications submitted.
